TYPES OF PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE
Low Level Language: this is a language which is easily understood by the computer. Example of low level language include Machine Language, Assembly Language.High Level language: this is a language easily understood by humans. It is used for coding/ giving instructions to the computer.
Examples of high level language include BASIC, C, COBOL, JavaComplier and Interpreter is used for converting high level language to the language the computer understands (0’s and 1’s). A Complier translate a code from a high-level programming language into a machine code before the program runs while an interpreter translates code written in a high-level programming into machine code line-by-line as the code runs.
MARKUP LANGUAGES
HTML- Hypertext Markup LanguageCSS-Cascading Style Sheet HTMLIs the standard markup language for building webpages.HTML TAGS includes <heading tags>, <em>, <font>, <br>, <sup>, <sub>. Note every html tag always has a closing. Eg <h1>Solarex</h1> “/” is used for closing the tags.
HTML Syntax
This is the order in which every html code follows. If not written in this syntax the code will fail to run.<!DOCTYPE html><html><head> <title></title></head><body></body></html>
HTML ATTRIBUTES
This are attribute given to html tags like height, color etc.
LIST IN Html
Types of List
Ordered list: used in creating list which can be numerical or alphabetical.
Unordered list: used to create list of items typically represented with bullet Point.
Description list: provides the description, definition or value for the preceding term (<dt>)
HTML Forms
This are tags used for creating forms where you can input your name, password, email etc. Example of tags used for creating forms includes <input>, <form>, <label>. Each of this tags have their own attributes. Type, name, placeholder, value, required, pattern, title are attributes of <input> tag.
CSS (Cascading Style Sheet)
This is a sheet used for designing the elements of an html code. Without CSS an html code cannot be presentable online.
Types of CSS
Inline CSS: this is the type of CSS used inside an html tag.
External CSS: this is a page apart from the html page where CSS codes are written. This CSS page is connected to the html page using a link.
Internal CSS: this is the CSS code which is written in the same page as the html code. Note this CSS is not written inside an html tag but in the same page as an html code. Note: “.” Is used for styling div tags. “#” is used for styling id CSS AttributesThis are the attributes used for designing. An attribute in CSS can have more than one values.Eg. Background color has values like blue, red, etc.
